The Sage Hill Lightning baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Oakwood Owls to 1 in the Lightning non-league victory on Friday.
The Lightning (4-18) will now prepare for their match against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 15-6 record. In their last match, St. Anthony was overwhelmed by La Salle (Pasadena, CA), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Owls (7-6) will now prepare for their match against de Toledo (West Hills, CA). The Jaguars go into the Liberty match with a 12-1 record. In their last match, de Toledo edged Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 11-0, in a league match.
