The St. Croix Central Panthers got by the visiting Spooner Rails baseball team by a count of 10-9 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Osceola for a Middle Border bout on Tuesday, April 11.
Next, the Rails face the Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) in a Heart O' North bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Spooner will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
