In Friday's non-league battle, the host St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the DePaul College Prep Rams.
The Spartans (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Plainfield East achieved victory over Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Rams encounter the Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 22. DePaul College Prep will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
