The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings toppled the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics volleyball team by a count of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

The Vikings now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbard West for a non-league game on Friday, April 21. Homewood-Flossmoor will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 12-1.

The Celtics (5-17) will now prepare for their game against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, St. Laurence was dropped by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
