The South Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Taft Toreadors to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 26-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrey Pines for a non-league game on Friday, April 21. South will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Westview (San Diego, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 22-4.
The Toreadors (28-16) will now prepare for their game against JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 1-14 record. In their last game, JSerra Catholic was dropped by Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
