The Mason Comets lacrosse team scored 14 points and limited the host Thomas Worthington CARDINALS to 12 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Comets (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Firebirds enter the Region 4 game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Lakota West was nudged by Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH), 18-7, in a league game.
The CARDINALS (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH). The Golden Bears enter the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Upper Arlington was nudged by New Albany (New Albany, OH), 16-15, in a non-league game.
