Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Gladiators now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Minisink Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Goshen Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Monticello falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sullivan West (Lake Huntington, NY) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
