Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Matadors now sport a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Castro Valley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Granada will face a Trojans squad coming off a 18-5 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, San Leandro falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 7-7.
