The Southampton Mariners lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Copiague Eagles to 5 in the Mariners league win on Friday.
The Mariners (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Smithtown East (Smithtown, NY). The Bulls go into the Section 11 I match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Smithtown East was overwhelmed by Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY), 8-7, in a league match.
