In Friday's non-league test, the host Tigard Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Thurston Colts.
The Tigers now have a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Colts face the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) in a Southwest match, on Wednesday, April 26. Thurston will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Irish go into the match with a 2-0 record after their 14-4 league win over South Eugene (Eugene, OR).
