In Friday's non-league game, the Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Bear River Bears (Garland, UT), by a final score of 5-0.
The Thunderbirds (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Jordan (Sandy, UT). The Beetdiggers go into the 5A Region 8 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Jordan was overwhelmed by Timpanogos (Orem, UT), 3-1, in a league game.
The Bears (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Green Canyon (North Logan, UT). The Wolves go into the 4A Region 11 game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Green Canyon nipped Sky View (Smithfield, UT), 3-2, in a league game.
