The Hoosac Valley Hurricanes softball team scored 25 runs and limited the host Brattleboro Colonels to 1 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hoosac Valley moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Hurricanes host Mount Greylock Regional (Williamstown, MA) to clash with the Mounties in a Berkshire County game on Monday, April 24. The Mounties come into the game with a record of 5-2. Mount Greylock Regional won 12-0 in their recent non-league game against Turners Falls (Montague, MA)

In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT) in a Marble Valley - A game, on Saturday, April 22. Brattleboro will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 16-15 non-league win over Otter Valley (Brandon, VT).
