Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Broadalbin-Perth Patriots (Broadalbin, NY), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Horses now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guilderland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Schuylerville will face a Flying Dutchmen squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Broadalbin-Perth falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY) to face the Indians in a Section 2 Foothills challenge on Monday, April 24. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
