Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monmouth-Roseville for a Three Rivers West challenge on Monday, April 24. Rockridge will face a Titans squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Morrison (Morrison, IL). The Titans record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Bureau Valley falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Storm host Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 11-3.
