The Housatonic Mountaineers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Dover Dragons to 8 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Housatonic improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a Berkshire game on Tuesday, April 25. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 8-0. Shepaug Valley won 8-0 in their recent league game against Terryville (Terryville, CT)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 21. Dover will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Mountaineers come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Thomaston (Thomaston, CT).
