The East Carter Raiders softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones to 4 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, East Carter moves its record to 16-7 on the year. The Raiders travel to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 22. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 7-12. Paintsville lost 9-8 in their recent non-league game against Logan County (Russellville, KY)

In their next game, the Fighting Cyclones clash with the Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 24.
