California High School Softball - Long Beach Poly can't get by La Serna

The La Serna Lancers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits to 4 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, La Serna moves its record to 19-6 on the year. The Lancers host El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to play the Dons in a Del Rio game on Monday, April 24. The Dons come into the game with a record of 9-12. El Rancho lost 11-5 in their recent non-league game against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA)
In their next game, the Jackrabbits play the Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) in a Moore game, on Tuesday, April 25. Long Beach Poly will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Tarbabes come into the game with a 0-11 record after their 23-13 league loss to Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA).
