The Western Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Mason Bulldogs to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Western improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI) to clash with the Comets in a non-league game on Saturday, April 22. The Comets come into the game with a record of 2-1. Hanover-Horton lost 18-4 in their recent league game against Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI) in a Capital Area - Red game, on Monday, April 24. Mason will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 15-12 non-league loss to Webberville (Webberville, MI).
