In Friday's non-league contest, the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Wilmington moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Reynolds (Greenville, PA) to play the Raiders in a District 10 Region 1 contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 4-6.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Moniteau will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Spartan come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 10-2 league loss to Neshannock (New Castle, PA).
