Ocosta Wildcats (Westport, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Toledo Indians (Toledo, WA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forks for a 2B Pacific challenge on Tuesday, April 25.

With the loss, Toledo falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Rainier (Rainier, WA) to battle the Mountaineers in a 2B Central challenge on Monday, April 24. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 4-0.
