The crowd at Sunday's non-league match between the Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) and the host Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN), saw Union County's softball squad achieve victory over Sullivan East by a count of 9-1.

The Patriots now sport a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton for a 3A District 4 match on Monday, April 22. Union County will face a Dragons squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Sullivan East falls to 9-20 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN) to face the Highlanders in a non-league match on Monday, April 22. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 8-2. Cloudland lost 14-5 in their recent non-league match against Cosby (Cosby, TN)
