The Union County Patriots softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Volunteer Falcons to 2 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Sunday.

With the triumph, Union County improves its record to 18-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Sunday, April 21. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 8-19. Sullivan East lost 6-3 in their recent non-league game against West Greene (Mosheim, TN)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN) in a 3A District 2 game, on Monday, April 22. Volunteer will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Greene Devils come into the game with a 14-11 record after their 10-2 non-league win over West Greene (Mosheim, TN).
