North Carolina High School Baseball - Pender loses to Clinton

April 21, 2025: Clinton, NC 28328

The Clinton Dark Horses triumphed over the visiting Pender Patriots baseball squad by a score of 11-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Dark Horses battle the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 28. Clinton will attempt to advance on its 14-4 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 10-9 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).

The Patriots (4-13) will now prepare for their outing against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans come into the Waccamaw 1A/2A outing with a 4-16 record. In their last outing, Heide Trask was overwhelmed by Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 11-1, in a non-league outing.
