In Monday's non-league game, the host St. John's Prep Eagles baseball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Haverhill Hillies.
The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Needham (Needham, MA). The Rockets enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Needham was overwhelmed by Braintree (Braintree, MA), 13-1, in a league game.
Next, the Hillies face the Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA) in a Merrimack Valley 2 game, on Tuesday, April 22. Haverhill will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Methuen (Methuen, MA).
