The Newfound Regional Bears baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats to 3 in the Bears non-league win on Monday.
The Bears now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Derryfield for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Newfound Regional will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Hillsboro-Deering drops to 0-3 on the year. The Hillcats host Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH) to play the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 0-4. Hopkinton lost 7-3 in their recent league test against Campbell (Litchfield, NH)
