The J.H. Rose Rampants baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Whiteville Wolfpack to 7 in the Rampants non-league win on Monday.

The Rampants now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jacksonville for a Big East 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 22. J.H. Rose will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-9.

With the defeat, Whiteville drops to 14-3 on the year. The Wolfpack travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to clash with the Nighthawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Nighthawks go into the test with a record of 12-6. First Flight won 8-2 in their recent league test against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC)
