In Monday's non-league bout, the New London Whalers (New London, CT) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT), by a tally of 14-0.
Next up, the Whalers encounter the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. New London will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Colonels enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT).
The Clippers (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions enter the bout with a 2-2 record.
