Utah High School Lacrosse - Brighton overwhelms Maple Mountain

April 21, 2025: Spanish Fork, UT 84040

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) and the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), witnessed Brighton's lacrosse squad top Maple Mountain by a count of 16-7.

The Bengals (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Alta (Sandy, UT). The Hawks enter the 5A Region 6 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Alta thwarted West (Salt Lake City, UT), 20-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) in a 5A Region 7 contest, on Wednesday, April 23. Maple Mountain will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Wasps enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 6-5 league win over Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT).
