Fans at Monday's league test between the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) and the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), witnessed Palatine's lacrosse squad gain a win over Schaumburg by a count of 5-3.

The Pirates (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Saint Viator was edged by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 10-4, in a league test.

Next, the Saxons battle the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid Suburban test, on Thursday, April 24. Schaumburg will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 5-5 record after their 14-3 league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
