Washington High School Baseball - Lynden wallops Mt. Baker

The Lynden Lions baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 5 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.
The Lions now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anacortes for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Lynden will play a Seahawks team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Mt. Baker drops to 0-8 on the year. The Mountaineers host Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 1-6. Nooksack Valley lost 17-13 in their recent non-league test against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
