The Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) lacrosse routed the host Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA), 16-4 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Orange County for a Jefferson outing on Friday, April 25. Monticello will face a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 14-11 non-league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Fauquier falls to 4-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. The Yellow Jackets go into the outing with a record of 6-1. James Monroe won 19-4 in their recent non-league outing against Unity Reed (Manassas, VA)
