Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL), 5-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Armstrong upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Trojans host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 8-10. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won 13-0 in their recent league game against Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL)

The Warriors now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Grant Park for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. Watseka will play a Dragons squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Momence (Momence, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 7-5.
