The Cabell Midland Knights softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Winfield Generals to 2 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.

The Knights now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenup County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 22. Cabell Midland will confront a Musketeers team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Musketeers record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, Winfield moves to 13-4 on the season. The Generals travel to Hoover (Clendenin, WV) to confront the Huskies in a Cardinal battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 13-3. Hoover won 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against George Washington (Charleston, WV)
