The Charleston Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Magazine Rattlers to 3 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedarville for a 3A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 22. Charleston will confront a Pirates team coming off a 25-12 non-league win over Westside (Coal Hill, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Magazine moves to 6-8 on the season. The Rattlers host County Line (Branch, AR) to confront the Indians in a 1A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 8-8.
