The St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) softball routed the host Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL), 13-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Bruins now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rochelle for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 23. St. Bede will encounter a Hubs team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Morris (Morris, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 3-12.
The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Cardinals go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - North test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Forreston was routed by Oregon (Oregon, IL), 6-0, in a non-league test.
