In Monday's non-league test, the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern test, on Tuesday, April 22. Grassfield will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 12-2 league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
The Packers (4-5) will now prepare for their test against York (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons go into the Bay Rivers test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, York prevailed over Warhill (Williamsburg, VA), 7-5, in a league test.
