The Rantoul Eagles baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Clinton Maroons to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph-Ogden for a Illini Prairie test on Thursday, April 23. Rantoul will play a Spartans team coming off a 22-4 non-league win over Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 17-1.

With the defeat, Clinton drops to 11-8 on the year. The Maroons host Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to play the Saints in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 22.
