Colorado High School Baseball - Wray edges Haxtun

The Wray Eagles baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Haxtun Ftng Bulldogs to 3 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Caliche for a non-league test on Thursday, April 23. Wray will play a Buffaloes team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 6-12.

With the defeat, Haxtun drops to 10-5 on the year. The Ftng bulldogs host Wiggins (Wiggins, CO) to play the Tigers in a 2A Lower Platte test on Thursday, April 23. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 9-8. Wiggins lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Ault, CO)
