The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) and the host Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN), saw Tri-Central's baseball team beat Taylor by a margin of 12-5.

The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN). The Gophers go into the Hoosier Heartland challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Clinton Prairie was overwhelmed by McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Taylor drops to 1-6 on the year. The Titans travel to Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN) to clash with the Gophers in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Thursday, April 23. The Gophers go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Clinton Prairie won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN)
