The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) and the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), saw Downingtown West's lacrosse team top Sun Valley by a margin of 17-2.

The Whippets (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Exeter Township (Reading, PA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Exeter Township was overwhelmed by Wilson (West Lawn, PA), 12-2, in a league challenge.

The Vanguards (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Father Judge beat Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA), 12-4, in a league challenge.
