In Friday's non-league game, the host Orion Chargers baseball team scored a nice 23-12 victory over the Wethersfield/Annawan Titans.
The Chargers (14-4) will now prepare for their game against Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Red Storm go into the non-league game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Monmouth United overcame Knoxville (Knoxville, IL), 4-1, in a league game.
The Titans (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Spartans go into the Lincoln Trail game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] overcame Stark County (Toulon, IL), 8-7, in a league game.
