The Butler Golden Tornado baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Hampton Talbots to 8 in the Golden Tornado non-league victory on Friday.

The Golden Tornado (10-2) will now prepare for their match against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Tigers go into the WPIAL 6A 1 match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, North Allegheny by Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA), 8-4, in a non-league match.

The Talbots (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks go into the WPIAL 5A 2 match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Armstrong edged Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 7-1, in a league match.
