New York High School Baseball - Voorheesville loses to Ichabod Crane

The Ichabod Crane Riders baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Voorheesville Blackbirds to 9 in the Riders league victory on Friday.

The Riders (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 2 Colonial match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Cobleskill-Richmondville was overwhelmed by Cohoes (Cohoes, NY), 5-0, in a league match.

The Blackbirds (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Maple Hill gained a win over Cairo-Durham (Cairo, NY), 12-5, in a league match.
