The Valley View Cougars baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Lakeland Chiefs to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Honesdale tipped Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA), 7-4, in a non-league match.
The Chiefs (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Blue Devils go into the Lackawanna 3 match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Old Forge was overwhelmed by Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 15-5, in a non-league match.
