In Friday's non-league game, the host Sedgwick County Cougars baseball team scored a nice 21-1 victory over the Weldon Valley Warriors.
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Briggsdale (Briggsdale, CO). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Briggsdale ran past Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO), 20-0, in a league game.
The Warriors (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Prairie (New Raymer, CO). The Mustangs go into the 1A District 5 game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Prairie ran past Briggsdale (Briggsdale, CO), 15-0, in a league game.
