The Maloney Spartans volleyball team (Meriden, CT), went down 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT)

The Bobcats (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Golden Hurricanes enter the Central Connecticut - East challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, New Britain went down by Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West challenge, on Monday, April 25. Maloney will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Knights enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Conard (West Hartford, CT).
