The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes lacrosse squad (Wilmington, NC), was nipped 8-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)
Coming up next, the Pirates meet the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern challenge, on Monday, April 25. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 15-3 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
The Hurricanes now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Arendell Parrott Academy for a challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Cape Fear Academy will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.
