Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA), 16-1 in a league battle.

The Mustangs now have a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amador Valley for a East Bay battle on Tuesday, April 26. Monte Vista will clash with a Dons squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Dons record now stands at 7-6.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) in a East Bay battle, on Tuesday, April 26. Dougherty Valley will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a 12-3 record after their 20-1 league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA).
