The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), saw Pinecrest's lacrosse team top Union Pines by a margin of 17-1.

The Patriots (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals enter the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Broughton was overwhelmed by Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC), 12-5, in a league challenge.
