South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons confront the Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) in a 1A/2A Cascade challenge, on Tuesday, April 26. South Whidbey will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Turks enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA).
The Grizzlies now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eastside Prep for a 1A Emerald City challenge on Monday, April 25. Bear Creek will confront a team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA). The record now stands at 2-1.
